Leila Macbeth

Leila Macbeth is an activist, community artist and educator committed to social justice practice through ritual, art, storytelling, dialogue, education and healing. Leila studied Ritual and Performance Art with Professor Adenike Sharpley at Oberlin College and has studied Communtiy Art with Professors Pepon Osorio and Billy Yalowitz at Tyler School of Art. She works with Philadelphia Jews for a Just Peace and Whites Comfronting Racism. She works to cultivate the information and tools we need for honest and loving self-analysis as well as the creativity and commitment we need to re-imagine justice into our ways of living.
