Jillian Lydon hails from Hamilton, NJ and received her BFA in Sculpture from the University of the Arts in 2005. After a brief stint living at the Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan she returned to Philadelphia to work as an accountant. (That doesn’t make any sense to her either.) Although she’s always keeping busy with crafty projects here and there, like creating stained glass windows, sewing new creations out of ties and fabric, and collage-ing with friends, this is her first time back in a gallery space since her senior thesis. Her current work deals with the pressures of knowledge and information on the human body.
